本講義では、海洋地質学の主要トピックを扱います。 特に、海盆の形成過程、海底地形、海底堆積物の種類と分布、古環境復元、海面の変動、海洋の地質資源に焦点を当てます。(DP1)

This course aims to provide students with a deeper knowledge of fundamentals topics in marine geology with a special emphasis on paleoenvironmental reconstructions and sea-level changes. Study cases will be presented and discussed in class to develop student understanding of current research topics. (DP1)

The grading is based on two reading assignments consisting each of one report (65%) and one oral presentation (35%).
