The purpose of this course is to learn how the genetic information becomes the molecules of action.

This course covers how DNA (the genetic materials) is transcribed, spliced, translated into proteins that execute most of the functions of the cells. The goal is to better understand the entire processes of decoding genetic information into an action molecules, by learning the sequence, the machinery and the players, as well as regulatory steps for each event.

Evaluation will be based on in-class participation, assignments, quizzes and examinations.
Equal to or better than 60% is required to pass.

Fail ‒ based on “Failed” results of examinations and assignments.
